All Whitman applicants are considered for academic merit-based scholarships. Do you also plan to apply for need-based aid?

Need-Based Financial Guarantees are not available until October 1st for domestic students. We will send you an academic merit scholarship guarantee within the next two weeks. After October 1st, please submit all required forms (see below) for your financial aid application. We will then calculate and release a full financial aid package for you.

Whitman College Need-Based Financial Aid Application Requirements

The Whitman 10% Promise uses only the FAFSA. You also have the option to submit the CSS Profile, which gathers more financial information that could lead to additional need-based scholarships beyond the 10% Promise.
