Campus Visit

We at Whitman College are pleased to welcome students and their families to campus for visits. To register for a campus visit select a date using the calendar.

We look forward to seeing you!

Here's what you need to know:

Tours last 45 minutes and are mostly outdoors. Tours will be followed by a 45- minute information session with an Admission Officer. Information sessions will take place indoors. A hosted meal with a student is also available for student visitors. Currently, our dining hall is only open to students.

To schedule a tour and information session, select a date on the calendar to view our openings on that day. Visits are offered at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. on Saturday. Lunch, coffee, or brunch (on Saturdays) with a student are also options for student visitors starting in late January.

Visit protocols during COVID-19:

-All visitors must be fully vaccinated and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination. A photo, photocopy or digital copy of your vaccination card is sufficient.

-Based on Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines and campus policies, all visitors—even those who are fully vaccinated—are required to wear face masks in indoor group setting or public spaces.

If you have any questions contact the Office of Admission at (509) 527-5176 or visit@whitman.edu.

*Despite the improvement in COVID-19 case rates across the country, we know that visiting in person is not a good option for everyone. However, we also know choosing the right college is a big decision. Campus visits are an important part of the college decision-making process and we want to do everything we can to support students through this process. We are happy to provide a variety of options for students and families for whom travel is not ideal.
